Botswana coach Gaolethoo Nkutlwisang names final squad for WAFCON 2022

Botswana coach Gaolethoo Nkutlwisang has announced her final squad for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations due to start on 2 July in Morocco.

The list of 24 players was made public on 17 June during the send-off ceremony which the Botswana Football Association organised for the team as they get set to depart for Morocco on 19 June.

The Mares are in Group C alongside nine-time champions Nigeria, four-time runners-up South Africa and fellow debutants Burundi.

During their training camp in Morocco they are expected to play three international friendly matches to fine-tune their preparations before their first game against Burundi on 4 July at the Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan stadium in Rabat.
